OLYMP is a project funded under the European Union's CERV programme (Project ID 101147018) that harnesses the power of sport to build media literacy among young elite athletes. It is coordinated by the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.

Misinformation is false information shared without intent to harm. Disinformation is deliberately false information spread with the intent to deceive.

Athletes are role models with large audiences on social media. They can be champions of truth, but they are also vulnerable to fake news and online harassment.
